 Attract the Most Attention

Tradeshow Booths

Some will argue tradeshow booths are the key to any tradeshow display. This isn't always so. Yes, a good booth will capture the eye of the client, but once the client is at the booth, what keeps them there? Many people believe that the tradeshow booth is the same thing as the display. They are not. Think about a framed work of art, if you remove the frame, the work of art is still beautiful. The frame only serves to compliment the artwork. The same is true about the tradeshow booth and the display. The display is the product that the representative is advertising. It is the graphics, furniture, and even the representative themselves. The booth is the frame. This is not to say that the booth is not important. It is. You wouldn't put a cheep plastic frame around Leonardo de Vinci's Mona Lisa, would you?

When designing your tradeshow exhibit booth, you want it to do several things: attract
attention, and be welcoming and comfortable. You want your booth to be seen by people from across the room at the same time, you do not want them to be overwhelmed when they're at your booth. This balance is some times hard to achieve. The igloo display booth was designed to attract attention, which it did, and the lighting made people feel welcomed. Color plays another huge role in attracting attention.

When you attend tradeshows, you know whom you're trying to get as clients. This
information alone will help you design your tradeshow booths. A successful tradeshow
booth will give something to the people who visit your booth, whether it's a place to relax, or a source of good yet brief information.
